color: blue
I’ve never worn colored contacts or anything so the blue of my eyes is completely natural. Sometimes they look a tad greenish, but usually they are a cool blue with a darker greyish-blue rim around the iris. Depending on the light and what I’m wearing, they can morph into spooky or deep blue or even greyish.
prescription: is STRONG (you can tell by looking at my temple and comparing where it is viewed through my lenses vs. where it is below the frames – the stronger the prescription, the more pronounced the jump) and I have a serious astigmatism to the point where they didn’t even manufacture contact lenses strong enough to correct it until I was in my late twenties.

My prescription as of January 2009
I’ve been wearing glasses since I was in third or fourth grade. I cannot read, watch tv, drive or really even function without my glasses or contacts. Without them everything is very blurry and indistinguishable. I am already quite clumsy, but without my glasses? I would injure myself trying to navigate between furniture even in the familiar setting of my own home.
I wear contacts in my most of my photos, videos, and live webcam shows, but I usually wear my glasses on a day-to-day basis as you can see in my video blogs or by watching me on our live spycams. I am not really interested in getting lasik surgery since the last time I checked I would still have to wear corrective lenses. Wearing contacts and glasses doesn’t bother me; it just feels like part of who I am.
I love watching people and staring at them, and sometimes when I’m wearing my glasses I feel so shielded by them that I forget people can see me and observe exactly how intently I’m watching them. It’s embarrassing, but I can’t seem to help myself.
