Last month Delia treated us to an out-of-house shooting excursion at a resort to take advantage of their off-season prices.

We had to leave earlier than planned because an unexpected snow blew in and it’s a long and sometimes-winding road from there to home:

We also did a little St. Patrick’s shopping picking up my green corset at an independent boutique and Delia’s dress at a swellegant second-hand store:

We made it home just in time to get stuck at home in the snow and ice for days, which is much better than being stuck in the snow and ice away from home.

We have company for a few days, our dear friends Kris and BeerCanMan, but there is work being done, too. Or at least TALK of work being done. Well, I am officially doing work now actually, not that this is the work you WANT me to be doing (and I’m sure you’re with me and would rather I hadn’t devoted hours to bills and money-juggling today) and some of the work is very behind-the-scenes promotional stuff but anyway.
